Black Tie Optional: Black-tie optional means that guests have the option of wearing their most formal attire (think: an evening gown or tuxedo) but can also choose to wear a formal suit or cocktail dress instead. Basically, you have some flexibility to play with your fit. Generally, a black-tie optional dress code means that the couple and their wedding party will be dressed in black tie. It's therefore courteous for guests to reflect this level of formality in their own attire. You can either go full-on glam in black-tie-worthy attire or opt for a slightly more relaxed but still formal ensemble. Yes! All Wedding Day events will take place at The Hutton House (10715 S Shore Dr., Medicine Lake, MN).

Yes- the ceremony will take place in the Courtyard (see https://thehuttonhousemn.com/ for more details). The Courtyard will also be available to guests during the reception.

Guests are welcome to arrive any time between 4:30 and 4:55pm to be seated for the 5:00pm ceremony start time.

4:30-4:55pm: Guests arrive | 5:00pm-5:30pm: Ceremony | 5:30pm-6:30pm: Cocktail hour | 6:30pm-8:00pm: Dinner | 8:00pm-12:00am: Reception

Guests are welcome to continue the celebration with us at Minneapolis Marriott West following the events at The Hutton House.

Yes- there will be free shuttles from Minneapolis Marriott West to The Hutton House at 4:00pm & 4:30pm There will also be shuttles from The Hutton House back to Minneapolis Marriott West at 9:30pm, 10:10pm, 10:50pm, 11:30pm, & 12:10am.

Free parking is available at The Hutton House, though you may also consider using a Ride Share app.

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be adults-only so everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. The only children in attendance will be part of the wedding party and immediate family. But we really do love all of your kids :)

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay within the requirements of our venue space. Our celebration is RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

After the wedding ceremony, we will be serving light passed hors d’oeuvres accompanied by an open bar. We invite you to toast to our nuptials with a curated selection of wine, beer, or one of our signature cocktails.
